City Council, TM Real Estate Group and Red Cross approve the granting of housing rental economic benefits to prevent the residential exclusion of 76 families (18/12/2019)

The Plan of Assistance to the Rental of habitual housing 2019 has granted economic benefits to a total of 76 families of Molina de Segura.

The Plan has been financed with the contribution of 15,000 euros by the TM Real Estate Group Foundation, by virtue of the collaboration agreement between TM Real Estate Group and the Spanish Red Cross, Molina-Vega Media Regional Assembly for Project of economic benefit for housing rental , and another 35,000 euros from the Molina de Segura City Council, under the nominative grant agreement of the Molina de Segura City Council to the Spanish Red Cross, Molina-Vega Media Regional Assembly, for economic housing rental benefits.

Both agreements were signed last June.

The management of financial aid corresponds to the Regional Assembly of the Red Cross Molina-Vega Media.

The applications have been submitted from July 1 to October 31, 2019, and have been resolved at the beginning of November, having already been paid.

The technical follow-up commission resolved the 95 files submitted, of which 76 families of Molina have been granted financial assistance for renting regular homes and 19 have been refused for not meeting the requirements.

For the resolution of these financial aids, criteria of transparency and technical management were established, since the aid plan contemplates a public scale that has been used in the technical proposal of the concession.

Of the 76 families, 75 have been granted 2 monthly payments and 1 family a monthly rent.

The maximum amount of aid has been € 450 per month.

It should be noted that 30 families benefiting from the rental assistance plan are single parents, which represents 39.7%, and 12 families are listed as large families;

23 applications have been made by men and in 53 cases they have been women.

By age, 15 families (19.73%) have been under 35 years old and 2 families are 65 years of age or older.

It is expected that by 2020 the Red Cross will continue to manage the rental assistance plan in collaboration with the TM Real Estate Group Foundation and the Molina de Seguros City Council.
