The Young Artistic Creation Space of Molina de Segura hosts the TransferIR exhibition, by Lucia Navarro and Irene Martínez, from March 6 to April 3 (05/03/2020)

The Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura organizes the TransferIR exhibition, by the artists Lucía Navarro and Irene Martínez, in the Exhibition Hall of the Young Artistic Creation Space (in Avenida de Madrid, n ° 68).

The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, March 6, at 7:00 p.m., and the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., until April 3.

TransferIR shows the projects of Lucía and Irene, two young artists who have studied the Degree of Fine Arts at the University of Valencia and who continue their training doing a Master in Barcelona.

In this collective exhibition Lucia presents Identité, an editorial project that was born as an attempt to resurface fashion illustration in magazines.

These are 6 posters made with the technique of screen printing, which will be given for the purchase of the magazine.

They show the illustrated trends from the 20s to the 70s. In addition we can also see a small series of four illustrations, worked with the same technique, in which some of the women that have been, and are today, appear, Essential in the textile sector.

In turn, Irene presents a project on the development of an illustrated album whose theme is the duel with children, titled You are even though you are gone.

This album has been made using two techniques, serigraphy and digital, containing 13 illustrations that make up the total set of the project.

In addition we can also see three illustrations, inspired by original photos of the protagonist of the illustrated album with his father, and a printed tote bag.

Lucia Navarro was born in Los Torraos, Ceutí, in 1997. Since childhood she began attending extracurricular drawing and painting classes.

It is then that he generates a great interest in the arts and decides to start his professional career around them, specializing in design and illustration.

Irene Martínez was born in Elche (Alicante) in 1994. Since she was a child she has shown sensitivity for art, but it was not until she chose the artistic branch, when studying high school, when she began to develop her passion.

During his studies he has specialized in graphic design and illustration, although within these two areas, the field of children's illustration is the one that has been most identified during much of his university stage.

The ECAJ, Space for Young Artistic Creation, is a space focused on the promotion and support of the creative work of young artists in their different modalities.

In it the artistic initiative is promoted and promoted, pretending to be a reference where young people can express themselves and participate in society through art.
