The First Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Molina de Segura and spokesman for the Municipal Monitoring Committee of COVID-19 in the municipality, Ángel Navarro García, has reported that the consistory has agreed, today Monday, March 16, to suspend all markets weekly in neighborhoods and districts.
This measure is in addition to the suspension of the Weekly Market on Saturday, in Parque de la Compañía, adopted on March 12, with the aim of reinforcing measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
On the other hand, the Molina de Segura City Council, through technicians from the Department of Sport and Health and operators of the Municipal Warehouse, has developed, throughout the entire morning of Monday, a close collaboration with the service centers primary school for the establishment of the new patient reception system, with the installation of municipal tents, fences and separation tapes so that the health workers can carry out the work of triage of the patients.
In addition, municipal technicians have collaborated with health centers in the distribution and placement of information posters in pharmacies, supermarkets and health centers, in which citizens are recommended not to go to health centers if it is not essential.
Lastly, the Local Council of Passionary Brotherhoods of the town has agreed, today Monday, March 16, the suspension of all acts of Easter 2020 in Molina de Segura.
