| The injured companies have their headquarters in Molina de Segura and are dedicated to the sale of warehouse material | He placed a fictitious order for 34,000 boxes on behalf of an Italian company, which never paidIt has been possible to recover a third of the plastic boxes, about 10,500 units, that the author had stored in a Cox warehouseThe Civil Guard has arrested a 37-year-old man in Callosa de Segura (Alicante) as the alleged perpetrator of two fraud crimes against two companies in Molina de Segura (Murcia), worth more than 48,000 euros in warehouse material : plastic boxes, pallet trucks and wheelbarrows.In the framework of the "Sercox" operation, carried out by the Investigation Area of ??the Civil Guard of Callosa de Segura (Alicante), the alleged perpetrator of two fraud crimes of more than 48,000 euros has been arrested, for which two logistical support companies for farms in Molina de Segura (Murcia) have been harmed.The events occurred between the months of January and May 2020, when the manager of a commercial based in Cox (Alicante) made the purchase of 34,000 plastic boxes from a company in Molina de Segura (Murcia), acting as an intermediary for an Italian company, for which the merchandise was destined.
However, once the boxes were served, the amount of the boxes was not paid, which amounted to more than 38,000 euros.To get to the author of the scam, the researchers decided to meet again with the staff of the injured Murcian company, in order to provide them with more data.
After analyzing the documentation and after having conversations with the Italian company, it was possible to specify that the contract documents were false, as well as that an order had never been placed from Italy.Thanks to this information, the plastic boxes were located in the facilities of a Cox industrial estate, where 10,000 of the 34,000 units that had served them were recovered.For its transfer and deposit, the intervention of up to three large trailers was necessary.Continuing with the practice of procedures, the Civil Guard located another company in Molina de Segura harmed by the same manager, through documentation and false promissory notes in the sale and rental of warehouse material (pallet trucks and wheelbarrows) valued at 10,000 euros, which they were also recovered.Finally, last week the alleged perpetrator of the two fraud crimes, a 37-year-old Spanish man, could be located and detained.Following the arrest, another search was conducted at another Cox farm, where up to 420 new plastic boxes were recovered.
