José Ángel Alfonso "The Government of Spain queues Molina de Segura and the Region of Murcia in the economic recovery, after COVID-19" (23/06/2020)

The Municipal People's Group presents three motions to the Ordinary Plenary to be held next Monday 29: they seek the establishment of conciliation measures before the return to classrooms in September, the request to provide sufficient resources to the City of Molina de Segura to the management of the Minimum Life Income, and the demand for fair treatment of the Region of Murcia in relation to the fund of 16,000 million euros destined for the recovery of the crisis caused by COVID-19.José Ángel Alfonso, spokesman for the Municipal People's Group in Molina de Segura, presented this morning the different motions that raise the next Ordinary Plenary session of the town hall in Molino, at the first face-to-face press conference since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular spokesman has globally defined the three motions as some of "the big issues that most concern the population after the pandemic.""It is urgent to create a Plan for Work and Family Reconciliation, since it is essential that men and women be able to join working life as soon as possible, and that this crisis does not imply a professional break that penalizes those who do not have the means to face the care of their children, therefore we request, among other things, that a census of buildings susceptible to be used by children who are unable to go to classrooms be prepared by the City Council, for complying with the distance measures and that a list of boys and girls under 12 years of age be developed at the beginning of the course, in collaboration with the Educational Community, who may require this service so that their parents can reconcile, especially those with both parents working abroad From home",José Ángel Alfonso has highlighted the first motion. The second of the motions deals with the recently approved Minimum Vital Income, which already existed in the Region of Murcia and which, in the words of the popular mayor, "would have been more effective and efficient, transferring funds to the Region of Murcia and Molina de Segura so that they could continue reinforcing and expanding the existing aid ", while denouncing that the Government of Spain" has not agreed on this measure neither with the Autonomous Communities nor with local entities ", for which they request in their motion" the provision of more resources in general, and for the City of Molina de Segura in particular, to attend to the management of the IMV in an appropriate way and without jeopardizing the processing of existing social aid ".THE REGION OF MURCIA, AT THE GLUE IN THE FUNDS OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT COVID-19.The last of the popular motions, denounces the discrimination of the Region of Murcia in the distribution of the 16,000 million euros from the fund of the Government of Spain so that the Autonomous Communities can manage the way out of the crisis caused by the pandemic , that despite the recent modification of the distribution, the Region of Murcia will continue to be the worst financed per inhabitant, just as it happened in 2009 with the Autonomous Financing System created by Zapatero. The motion agreements include urging the Government of Spain to modify the criteria for the distribution of the COVID-19 fund, the creation of an additional compensatory fund for those underfinanced Autonomous Communities, and their authorization to borrow above the deficit target.Jose Ángel Alfonso concluded by stating that "The PSOE-Podemos Government of Molina de Segura demands, day by day, with all possible legitimacy, more resources from the Government of the Region of Murcia, while it is subjected to constant and perpetual discrimination on the part of of the Government of Spain (of the same political sign) in the economic aspects fundamentally, and also in others such as the lack of institutional collaboration for the recovery of the Mar Menor "and that," Pedro Sánchez and Pablo Iglesias, leave us in line to to recover from this crisis as soon as possible, while other territories are entertained for their political interests.
