| The Mayor has visited the works, today, Tuesday, September 29, as well as the works of improvement of road safety on Calle García Lorca, in La Torrealta | The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Public Roads, Municipal Works and Infrastructures, carries out the replacement works of the La Brancha Bridge over the Greenway, practically completed, as well as the works to improve safety Calle García Lorca road, in La Torrealta, whose execution has already ended.
Both actions have been visited, today Tuesday, September 29, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Public Roads, Municipal Works and Infrastructures, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez. The works to improve road safety on Calle García Lorca, in the surroundings of the CEIP Ntra.

De los Remedios in the district of La Torrealta, which have already been completed, are the result of the initial planning for the surrounding area from the school, where, through the Participatory Budgeting process, a large municipal park was built last year.
This work completes the management that was pending between the park area and the existing road.
Its execution has allowed the expansion of the existing road, provision and paving of sidewalks on both margins and improvement in street lighting, as well as the creation of a total of 27 battery parking spaces (2 reserved for users with reduced mobility) ,ending the action with an improvement in the horizontal and vertical signage of the entire complex attached to the school, as well as the provision and planting of trees on the slopes obtained and placement of bike racks. With this action the planning of the area is completed, but, above all, it gains in road safety, in improving the accessibility of children to school, etc.
The municipal investment made amounts to 116,225.22 euros and the work has been carried out by the company Isetec Servicios Integrales, SL. The Mayor has also visited the replacement works of the Brancha Bridge over the Greenway, practically completed, fulfilling another commitment reached with the residents of La Brancha, who suffered from precarious access (since there were no sidewalks), while the condition of the old bridge created insecurity, due to the structural problems it presented.
The works are practically completed, and a considerable improvement has been obtained in the accesses, since it has been possible to gain the necessary widths to form large sidewalks as a viewpoint, as well as to improve the passage over the greenway, with the construction of a bridge made up of precast concrete frames and fins.
Likewise, existing service crossings, supply,undergrounding of telephone lines and improvement of public lighting. According to the Mayor, "this action was considered a priority by the government team.
It is necessary to provide the small population centers with adequate accesses, which must be consistent with the century in which we live, guaranteeing the safety of the users ". The municipal investment made in this project amounts to 233,029.45 euros, and the works are carried out by the company Talleres y Conducciones Juanito, SL.
