to 8:30 p.m. The collages in this exhibition are a journey through different themes that concern the artist, such as social rights, the environment, mental health, love, nature, pain or childhood.
Each collage is an image of your own ideas at the time you made them.
With them she talks about their contradictions, their emotions, changes of stage ...
but the common theme to all is that everything is interconnected, that life is a fabric of subtleties and that what happens outside of us also happens in us, as well as what happens inside us also has its expression in the world. Sometimes Marta eme feels that the collages she makes are telling her things that are in her unconscious.
As she cuts and pastes without thinking, she suddenly finds a message that was inside herself that she had not realized.
They help you get to know each other, tell your things and enjoy the moment.
In short, in her collages, the artist expresses that we are natural beings and in continuous transformation and, through them, she accepts, recognizes and loves what happens in her interior and around her. This young artist was born in Cartagena in 1990, protected by women, her mother and her grandmother, who, as she herself comments, made life an art.
Her family and nature have been what has driven her the most to want to express herself beyond words, whether with a pencil, with play dough or with magazine clippings.
This is something that has accompanied him his whole life. His first collage was already in college, during his architecture studies.
One day he ran out of materials to make a model and next to all the cut-out cardboard were a pile of magazines.
He began to paste different textures on the facades, the floor, the stairs ...
He realized the power that images have to mean whatever he imagined.
Later she met wonderful friends who encouraged her to make more collages, and now with them she expresses things that she could not explain otherwise. The Young Artistic Creation Space is a space for the promotion and support of the creative work of young artists in its different modalities.
In it the artistic initiative is promoted and promoted, pretending to be a reference point where young people can express themselves and participate in society through art.
