The Molina de Segura Local Safety Board confirms that the crime rate is 20% below the national average (07/10/2020)

During this year 2020, they have decreased: 66.6% crimes against sexual freedom; 40% robberies and thefts in premises and homes; 52% robberies with violence and intimidation; and 11% the thefts of vehicles.As highlighted by both the Government Delegate and the Mayor of the town, this evolution is the result of the close collaboration and cooperation between the National Police and Local Police, both with regard to districts and urbanizations as well as the urban center.On the other hand, there has been an 80% increase in serious crimes of fraud and deception online, and 40% of minor crimes for the same concept.

To combat this type of crime, both the Government Delegation in the Murcia Region and the Molina de Segura City Council will carry out prevention information campaigns.In relation to the sanctions for COVID-19 processed by the Molinense City Council, the total accumulated number amounts to 470, of which 310 correspond to non-compliance with the use of the mask and 119 for drinking on public roads (bottle).In terms of citizen security, the City Council has processed a total of 398 files.Given the COVID-19 pandemic situation, as a novelty, this meeting was attended by the Director General of Public Health of the Region of Murcia, the Councilor for Sport and Health and the Technical Chief of Health of the City Council.

The Councilor for Citizen Security, Julia Fernández, has reported that the City Council has already been working for weeks on the organization of the special device on the occasion of the All Saints holiday, the next event that will entail great social mobility, and will require the adoption hygienic and sanitary measures.
