| The windows offer a selection of the most current and demanded works in children's, youth and for adults, with special sections on romantic literature, and various themes, such as cooking, DIY and sewing work | The Salvador García Aguilar Municipal Library (BSGA) of Molina de Segura, taking advantage of its large exterior windows and with the motto Look, choose and read, has turned them into attractive windows in which it shows its users a wide collection of books, thus facilitating the choice of loans, without having to enter the building. The measures to prevent COVID-19 infections in this type of public facilities make it impossible for people outside the provision of the library service to access beyond the loan area, so they cannot see or browse the books that the library puts at your disposal on the shelves. The four windows created by the BSGA aim to overcome this inconvenience and offer, divided into age groups, a selection of the most current and in-demand works.
The groups are for children's, youth and adult literature, with a special section on romantic literature.
In addition, there is a showcase dedicated to various topics, such as cooking, DIY and sewing. Since the launch of this initiative, a good number of users have been able to make their loans more comfortably and have appreciated the suggestions that come from the shop windows. The BSGA is open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00.
Saturday hours are from 10:00 to 14:00.
As a measure for the prevention of infections by COVID-19, cleaning and disinfection tasks are carried out constantly, also taking advantage of the closure of the facilities, from 2:00 p.m.
to 4:00 p.m., to intensify these works.
