| The first of the programs is broadcast on Thader TV on Friday, October 16, and is prepared from the CAVI | The Department of Equality and Gender Violence of the Molina de Segura City Council, within the XVII Program for the Prevention of Gender Violence and on the occasion of the commemoration of November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IV Plan of Equal Opportunities between Women and Men), participates in the development of three programs of the project Mostly Older on TV. The objective of the Gender Violence Prevention Program is to generate a new social attitude towards gender violence, which prevents and eliminates all expression of it in the municipality, as well as sensitize the population of Moline about this problem, to achieve a total rejection of any type of sexist violence. One of the activities is the realization of three programs from the CAVI service for the Mostly Seniors space on TV, promoted by the Department of Social Welfare, through the Seniors Unit, and in collaboration with the Seniors Association for Aging Active and Healthy.
The contents of each program are the following: - Seniors and Equality. - Prevention and elimination of gender violence in the elderly. - Older people want to know about gender violence. The first of the programs is broadcast on Friday, October 16, through Thader TV, from 10:00 a.m.
to 11:00 a.m.
(with rebroadcasting in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m.), and two women from the district of The Plain.
The following will air in November, around 25 N. It is a television space that invites citizens to reflect, to achieve healthy aging, in which the needs for learning, personal growth, and decision-making are analyzed from equality, in order to avoid any form of discrimination. The Elderly Unit of the Department of Social Welfare collaborates.
