The City Council joins the National Day of ADHD illuminated in orange in the pavilions of the El Romeral Sports City (27/10/2020)

The request of the groups for this year is that transparent legislation be carried out for ADHD that avoids current discrimination and grants for ADHD without disabilities or conduct disorder, as well as the development of a Comprehensive Plan for ADHDThe Molina de Segura City Council joins the National ADHD Day, which is commemorated today, Tuesday, October 27, with the lighting, in orange, of the new pavilions of the El Romeral Sports City and the support through the municipal profiles on social media. The request of the groups for this year, among which is the Molinense association ADAHI, is that transparent legislation be made for ADHD that avoids current discrimination and that scholarships be granted for ADHD without disability or conduct disorder, as well as the development of a Comprehensive Plan for ADHD.

All the claims are included in the following manifest:MANIFESTO 2020I ONLY HAVE ADHD, I WANT MY RIGHTSNATIONAL ADHD DAY IN SPAIN #BECASTDAH, # 27OTDAHEVEN WHEN? What must be done so that politicians /, administration and even professionals, stop laughing at people with ADHD, children, adolescents, adults, their fathers and mothers, their grandparents and grandmothers, of his brothers and sisters, of his friends and girlfriends?Who is free of sin (living with a person with ADHD) to throw the first stone: I assure you that, due to the prevalence of the disorder, there are few who can do it.

ADHD, from its genetic pattern and its neurobiological dysfunction, appears with many faces and at all ages.

In each face, in each situation there is behind a feeling and consequences.

It is in everyone's hands that they are positive.

In everyone's hands but not tomorrow, but not justifying their actions with the denial of the disorder, not looking the other way as the thing is not going with me.

If the response is delayed, the risk increases for them but also for society.

Do you want to be the responsible one?At this time so complicated by COVID-19, in which things are not easy for anyone, our children and adolescents suffer the "plus" of non-adaptation, that of forgetting their clear needs.

A clear and serious example: during the state of alarm, the Government once again forgot about ADHD, not considering it necessary for them to be able to go out to the streets for controlled periods.TODAY, in the classrooms we have to continue begging to be allowed to go to the bathroom for 5 minutes (to disconnect), when it has been agreed that 3 classes in a row, a short break (10/15 minutes) and another 3 classes in a row ...TODAY, you have to pray and cross your fingers so that "someone" at school, when they receive 6/7 emails a day from as many teachers, helps them organize and find out what they have to do.When a child presents you with a messy writing, without taking into account the script you have given him ...

he is not kidding you ...

he has difficulty organizing ideas and putting them on paper ...

HE HAS ADHDWhen a child gets up 10 times in class ...

he doesn't want to boycott you ...

he can't sit ...

HE HAS ADHDWhen a child runs away from class ...

they don't want to get you into trouble ...

they need to run away because of something that you haven't seen and they can't stop to think ...

IT HAS ADHDAll this is not reeducated or worked in the classroom, an external and specialized psychopedagogical intervention is necessary to help this minor to train strategies tailored to their needs in order to organize ideas, be able to sit more time, stop and ask for help from the teacher. The harsh reality is that in this 20/21 academic year there will be many children who do not have this help; The simple answer: From the Ministry of Education, it is still considered not a priority to include, for this course, students with ADHD in the call for aid for students with a specific need for educational support.

Without these help, many parents will not be able to afford this psycho-pedagogical support and their children will continue without ordering ideas, getting up in class and running at any time.Ladies and gentlemen, deputies, senators, regional leaders, do not pass the "buck", legislate for and for ADHD, cover the needs of our children with good and clear legislation that visualizes the person with ADHD JUST from having ADHD.ONE LAST MESSAGE To all the people who justify their inaction with expressions such as: is it that I know a doctor who overdiagnoses or is it that his or her diagnoses are not correct, be fair and courageous, if you consider that a professional has malpractice: REPORT! yes PLEASE REPORT! but do not deny with your inaction the rights that correspond to 5% of the child and youth population and 2% of adults.YOU WILL DO US A BIG FAVOR and after reporting, get to work for ADHD.THIS year's PETITION is clear:YES to transparent ADHD legislation that avoids current discrimination.YES to SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ADHD without DISABILITIES or conduct disorder, LET'S CALL THINGS BY THEIR NAME, IT IS ENOUGH TO WANT TO cover ADHD under other umbrella than ours.LEGISLATION FOR HAVING ADHD ALREADY !!FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR ADHD NOW !!
