Taking advantage of the architectural and historical potential of the city, the Festival is based at the Museo del Enclave de la Muralla (MUDEM), a cultural-museum space created with the aim of protecting and disseminating the remains of the Molina de Segura wall, a typical fortification of Andalusian origin between centuries XI and XVI.Throughout its trajectory, MOMUA has counted on the performance of groups specialized in the interpretation of early music, as well as specialist teachers, with great professional experience and projection at a national and international level.Directed by the musicologist Mª Ángeles Zapata and the violinist Lorenzo Cutillas, the organization is run by the Department of Culture of the Molina de Segura City Council and the DeMusica Ensemble group, whose commitment is to investigate, rescue, interpret, disseminate and promote the music composed and / or performed by women, with the aim of making the role of women visible throughout the history of music. This year, the program consists of COURSES and TALKS:COURSES:HOW TO INSTRUMENT MEDIEVAL DANCES.
