| The Mayor and the Councilor for Public Roads have presented, today, Tuesday, November 3, four major project packages, include ongoing municipal works and the Investment Plan to be executed in the first half of 2021 | The projects of the Department of Public Roads of the Molina de Segura City Council, which include municipal works in progress and the Investment Plan to be executed in the first half of 2021, have been presented at a press conference today, Tuesday, November 3, in the Press Room of the City Council, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Public Roads and Municipal Works, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez. The Molina de Segura City Council finances a large package of projects, which are listed below: Among the most outstanding actions is a first package of projects amounting to 1,542,937 euros, which includes, on the one hand, the most urgent repair actions of DANA, such as road repair projects (in La Ribera, La Torrealta, Huerta de Arriba and Abajo and districts of Campo de Molina), as well as the repair works of the Noria de El Llano, Barceloneta track, Velodrome and repair of the streets Júcar (B ° de los Jaimes) and Garbera (La Ribera), as well as the bridge that connects Balsa del Lino and El Paraje (Alguazas), or the repair work on Av.
De la Industria and Calle Panamá, whose work has already been completed.
Likewise, this first package will include investment projects, destined for the most part to the repair of parks and gardens and various improvement actions in the urban area.Continuing with the problems caused by DANA, other projects have been published for contracting, which include the repair actions at the La Ermita, El Romeral, Colector Norte and La Polvorista Pumping Station.
These are actions for the repair of equipment, where the Entity of Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment of the Region of Murcia (ESAMUR), belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has not provided help and, therefore, the Molina de Segura City Council has had to face more than 1,000,000 euros, between the initial actions after DANA and those it has to carry out now.
This set of projects has an amount of 850,754.69 euros and has had to be financed from the Canon,that the company that operates the Supply and Sanitation transfers to the City Council for repair and improvement actions.
Likewise, by the end of the year, actions are planned, charged to Canon, and also for repairs by DANA, General Collectors, amounting to 1,532,794.07 euros: repair of the General Sanitation Collector that runs along Rambla de los Calderones, and the Colector General that runs along Calle Aguacate and Avenida de los Castaños, in El Chorrico.
The total investment for DANA repairs represents a value of 3,926,485 euros, which has also had to be advanced by the City Council since, since November last year, the aid requested for emergency damages caused by DANA is being awaited.

Also, in June of this year,50% financed projects were requested and the City Council awaits the resolution of the Ministry. The second package of projects presented, for a value of 443,178 euros, corresponds to the District Plan, biannual in nature, and where this year it is planned to carry out two projects worth 221,589 euros: construction of the Vega del Segura School Pavilion in La Ribera de Molina; and improvement of the Plaza del Casino and Plaza Don Pedro el Practicante, in La Ribera. The third package of projects is made up of the projects included in the Participatory Budgeting process, where the 1.5 million planned for 2020 will be managed on a biannual basis, between 2020 and 2021, to allocate part of this budget to the needs originated by COVID.
Of the 750 thousand euros planned for this participatory budget annuity, the Department of Public Roads is in the phase of drafting and contracting projects for an amount of 416,367 euros.
The rest are mainly lighting projects, carried out by the Department of Industry. In summary, until the end of the year, a total of 4,786,030 euros will be put out to tender by the City Council, fully financed by the Molina de Segura City Council, (with the exception of the Works and Services Plan, financed by the Autonomous Community), "pending the aid that may be received by the Ministry, charged to the damages caused by DANA, and without receiving a single euro of the 77 million of those provided by the Autonomous Community in the 22 lines of action, with 250 works to prevent floods, presented last September, with Molina de Segura being one of the municipalities most affected by the floods, "the Mayor said.
