| The objective of this initiative, promoted by Consulta de Uribe, is to alleviate, treat and teach physical and emotional tools to all health workers in the Region of Murcia, making it easier for them to can face their day to day in a healthy way | As of yesterday, Wednesday, November 4, Molina de Segura has 332 active cases of COVID-19, with an accumulated incidence in the last 7 days of 392.3 cases, which places it in 24th place among the 45 municipalities of the Region of Murcia The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, presented at a press conference, today Thursday, November 5, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, updated data on the incidence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the municipality and the #niunsanitariosintratar campaign, promoted by Consulta de Uribe, with the support of the Molinense Council, the University of Murcia and the Illustrious Official College of Physiotherapists of the Region of Murcia.

He was accompanied in the presentation by the Councilor for Sport and Health, Miguel Ángel Cantero García, and the promoter of the campaign, María José Espallardo Uribe. In her appearance before the media, the Mayor began her speech by stating that "the level of risk of transmission in Molina de Segura continues to be very high, as it has an Accumulated Incidence rate in the last 14 days higher than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants; in fact, we have multiplied that threshold by more than three, placing us at 794.3 cases ". "The Action Plan for coordinated response to control the transmission of the disease, agreed by the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System, recommends, in very high-risk situations such as the one we are in, leaving the home only what is necessary and avoid closed spaces in which activities incompatible with the use of the mask take place.

Therefore, we must be responsible and make these recommendations integrate into our daily lives.

Saving lives is our main objective, something that we must bear in mind in everything moment". As of yesterday, Wednesday, November 4, Molina de Segura has a total of 332 active cases, 17 less than last October 27, with a cumulative incidence in the last 7 days of 392.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

These indices place the municipality in the 24th place of incidence among the 45 municipalities of the Region, four places above the regional average, which yesterday was 374.8 cases. The Accumulated Incidence in the last two weeks does not stop growing and is already at 794.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 46 cases above the Community average. So far in this second wave of the pandemic, Molina de Segura accumulates a total of 2,074 PCR positive.

The increase from Tuesday, October 27 to Wednesday, November 4 was 371 positive CRPs, which represents an average of 41 daily cases.

The deaths in this second wave of the pandemic are 15 so far, which is 2 more than those reported by the Mayor in her last appearance, on October 27.

"I want to convey my condolences to the families of these two people." On the municipal website www.molinadesegura.es and on municipal social networks, the Weekly Evolution Report prepared by the Municipal Scientific Technical Committee is already available, a complete document that was reported yesterday afternoon during the meeting held by the aforementioned Committee, and where all the updated data regarding the municipality are collected.

This report reflects, for yet another week, that the number of cases continues to be very high in the South Health Zone, with an Accumulated Incidence per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days of 1,196.7 cases.

In the North Health Zone this Accumulated Incidence is 858.9 cases and in the East Health Zone it is 365.8. "As you can see, explains Clavero- in the first two areas we are above 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while in the East Health Zone this incidence has been cut in nine days in 138.5 cases". The Mayor also stressed that "the Molina de Segura City Council has loyally extended its hand to the Regional Government, as we have always done since the beginning of the pandemic, but there are certain decisions of the executive of our Autonomous Community that lead us to an embarrassing spectacle, because of the improvisation, and painful, due to the serious economic losses that it can entail, such as the announced closure of bars and restaurants for a period of 14 days starting next Saturday.

I think that with such a decision, the government Murcian shows a tremendous disregard for one of the most important economic sectors in each and every one of the municipalities of our Region, a sector that, after adapting to all the security and protection measures imposed, and having accepted cuts in capacity with submission and schedules, now he sees how he has to lower the blind and thereby endanger the income of thousands of families.

" "The closure of the hotel business cannot be announced so few days in advance because many of our bars and restaurants had already collected gender for the weekend.

Improvisation is the worst ally in political management, those who base on her decisions show a lack of confidence and conviction in her own ideas.

I want to acknowledge the great work that the hoteliers of Moline have been doing, to whom I convey all my solidarity from here, and I ask the regional administration that this decision to close our bars and restaurants for 14 days from Saturday also come accompanied by the corresponding measures of economic support to a sector that faces, once again, to suffer great losses ". Last Friday, the City Council approved in plenary session a modification of the tax ordinance regulating the occupancy rate of chairs and tables on public roads, a unanimous municipal agreement that supposes the suspension throughout the year 2021 of the payment of this rate by part from the bars and restaurants of Molina de Segura.

"Not having to pay the tax next year will mean a total saving of 75,000 euros for our hoteliers.

It is a measure that we adopt with the aim of supporting these economic sectors of our town so badly hit during the pandemic, despite the decrease in income that this will mean for the municipal coffers, "says Clavero. The measure is added to the line of subsidies for the self-employed and small companies launched within the framework of the Municipal Contingency Plan for COVID-19, and which allows this group to access municipal aid of up to 1,500 euros per establishment.

These subsidies, whose bases have already been published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, have a municipal allocation of 200,000 euros. "From the Molina de Segura City Council we remain vigilant against the actions of the other administrations.

If we detect errors that affect the health of our neighbors, we have the obligation and responsibility to demand that solutions be found.

Therefore, we ask the Government again Regional strengthening of primary care and increasing the number of trackers.

This figure saves lives, avoids confinements and helps economic activity not cease.

People affected by COVID need the necessary health care, but also those who require it.

they have other pathologies. The damages of this virus do not have to be increased by other collaterals due to a lack of foresight and planning.People with chronic disease cannot be left unattended, nor can surgeries be postponed. The Town Councils are making an extra effort to face the extraordinary expenses that this pandemic is generating, guaranteeing security and promoting prevention.

For this reason, we ask the Regional Government to urgently transfer the money destined to defray the expenses derived from the expansion of the cleaning and disinfection services of the public Infant and Primary schools, which the Autonomous Community has received from the Government of Spain ", claims the Mayor.transfer the money destined to defray the expenses derived from the extension of the cleaning and disinfection services of the public Infant and Primary schools, which the Autonomous Community has received from the Government of Spain ", the Mayor claims.transfer the money destined to defray the expenses derived from the expansion of the cleaning and disinfection services of the public Infant and Primary schools, which the Autonomous Community has received from the Government of Spain ", claims the Mayor. Esther Clavero concluded by pointing out that "the unity of all citizens continues to be fundamental to reduce the number of infections.

That unity is the energy that will fuel the success of our society in the face of the pandemic and will make us regain the desired normality.

therefore, flee from confrontations and promote teamwork.

We people who are dedicated to public management cannot and must not sit idly by in a society that cries out for a political class at the height of the difficult situation we are experiencing.

Society is made up of anonymous people who reconcile us with the human condition through solidarity and altruistic actions ". "One of those people is María José Espallardo Uribe and all the members of her Consulta de Uribe team, from Molina de Segura, who have launched the #niunsanitariosintratar campaign with which they seek to alleviate, treat and teach physical and emotional tools to all health workers in the Region of Murcia, making it easier for them to face these hard days of work in a healthy way ". CAMPAIGN #NIUNSANITARIOSINTRATAR The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Sports and Health, has joined the #niunsanitariosintratar campaign, promoted by Consulta de Uribe, with the support of the Molinense Consistory, the Department of Psychiatry and Social Psychology of the University of Murcia and the Illustrious Official College of Physiotherapists of the Region of Murcia.
