| Next November 30 the International Day of the Educating City is celebrated, and this year it is celebrated on 30 anniversary of the proclamation with the motto 30 years transforming cities and people, for a better world | Molina de Segura adheres, one more year, next November 30, to the commemoration of the International Day of the Educating City, in a very special year since the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of the Charter of Educating Cities is celebrated, with the motto 30 years transforming cities and people, for a better world. The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Education, became part of the International Association of Educating Cities in 2012, after the full membership of the City Council.

Since then, every year he commemorates this celebration by carrying out a series of activities to visualize within the municipality the importance of the city as an axis and educational agent, from its different aspects. The Charter of Educating Cities is based on different regulations, such as the Declaration of Human Rights, the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the World Charter for the Right to the City, among other. In the Educating City, education transcends the walls in schools to permeate the entire city.

It is a citizen education, where all administrations assume their responsibility to educate and transform the city into a space of respect for life and diversity. This year, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the Molinense City Council will disseminate a learning pack on social networks and the municipal website, publishing a learning or legacy of these 30 years, every day of November, culminating with activities on the 30th . The Councilor for Education, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, recalls that "Molina de Segura, as an Educating City, must rethink the city as an inclusive, dynamic educational ecosystem and in permanent dialogue with citizens.

We must become aware of the importance of education, making visible the commitment of the local government to position it as a vector generator of well-being, coexistence, prosperity and social cohesion.

From the City Council we will continue to assume whatever challenges are necessary to value the role of the city and citizens in education, collaborating with entities, associations and Molinenses in general to make this municipality an example of a coeducational city.

We will continue to bet on how many educational projects improve quality, not only in our educational centers and our students.but of all citizens ".
