The popular raise a motion with which they seek to reduce the impact of the digital divide, which according to the most recent data affects 52% of women and 42% of men who do not have Internet access at the level global, but it also affects many people in Molina de Segura who, in confinement, had to suffer the consequences of said gap: lack of communication and isolation, barrier to study and knowledge, accentuation of social differences, difficulties in time to carry out different procedures with administrations, etc.

The motion raises a battery of measures to solve this problem, among which are: The creation of a bank of digital devices (computers, tablets and others), to offer a loan service, aimed primarily at vulnerable families.

Establish an economic aid fund, to finance connectivity in homes at risk of exclusion, create a "Digital Volunteering" program, in order to accompany, give support, and train in basic digital skills, to citizens who demand it.

Design, apply and disseminate a Comprehensive ICT Training Plan.

Agreements with telecommunications companies, in order to minimize the cost of Internet access for households in Moline.

Creation of an "ICT Citizen Help Office", made up of a team of ICT agents,to advise people who are not used to the use of these technologies, and facilitate procedures with Public Administrations.

Jos ngel Alfonso has stressed that "with this motion we also intend to promote the training of citizens on the risks involved in the use of new technologies, as well as the crimes that They can be committed through it such as scams, harassment or theft of information, cyber crimes that in Molina de Segura have increased by 80% the serious ones and 40% the minor ones, during confinement, according to reported in the Local Board of Citizen Security ".

Given the "traffic jam" of motions that dragged on in the last plenary sessions, other popular motions presented in previous months will also be seen in the next plenary session, specifically a motion to defend the constitutional order before the recent pacts of the Government of Spain with the independentistas and Bildu, as well as another motion to urge the paralysis of the new educational law, popularly known as "Ley Cela ", against which the popular of Molina de Segura have collected more than 600 signatures for their repeal.
