Insects can be found in every environment on Earth and have adapted to a large number of habitats.

These living beings perform numerous functions, many of them fundamental for the maintenance of life on the planet: they aerate the soil, pollinate flowers, and control insect and plant pests.

Many insects, especially beetles, are scavengers, and by feeding on dead animals and fallen trees, they recycle nutrients back into the soil.

As decomposers, insects help create the topsoil, which is very rich in nutrients and helps in plant growth.

Burrowing insects, such as ants and beetles, dig tunnels that provide channels for water, which benefits plants, while bees, wasps, butterflies and ants pollinate flowering plants.

The Councilor for the Environment, Mariano Vicente Albaladejo, invites "all the residents of Molina de Segura and other municipalities in the region, to visit the Alto del Rellano Nature Center, discover the nature of the northern area from Molina de Segura, and enjoy the natural values ??it houses ".
