The Manager of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hern ndez Jim nez, has been appointed Director of the Foundation for Medical Studies (FEM) of Molina de Segura, by the Board of the FEM on December 28.
Among the objectives and projects in which Hern ndez Jim nez is already working, is to develop scientific dissemination among citizens, awaken the scientific vocation among high school students, organize conferences on current medical and health issues, in general, and establish recognition by the FEM for those works and scientific research that focus on improving the health of the inhabitants of Molina de Segura.
Pedro Hern ndez Jim nez assumes the leadership of the FEM "with honor and gratitude to the Board of Trustees for having counted on me.

His professional career goes through the Medical Directorate of Sanitas in Murcia and Levante (1993-2001) and the Management of the San Carlos Hospital in Murcia (2002-2010).
Currently, he is a member of the Municipal Health Council (Molina de Segura City Council) and a member of the Regional Health Council of the Region of Murcia.
Since 2015, he has held the Presidency of the Murcian Union of Hospitals and Clinics (UMHC) - of whose Board he has been part since 2002 - and a member of the Board of Directors of the Private Health Employers at the national level ( ASPE).
He has also been a member of the CROEM Board of Directors since 2015, and a member of the CROEM Executive Committee, since 2018.
Hern ndez Jim nez is Director of the Hospital de Molina Research Chair of the San Antonio de Murcia Catholic University (UCAM).
