| The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 14 | The Youth Department of the Molina de Segura City Council organizes the exhibition Diversos…, by Mariano García, from May 20 to June 14, in the Exhibition Hall of the Young Artistic Creation Space (at Avenida de Madrid, n ° 68) , Monday to Friday, from 5:30 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m.
The Councilor for Youth, Soledad Nortes Navarro, visits the exhibition on Thursday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Mariano Esteban García (1987) is an artist from Molina de Segura who has had various exhibitions in the municipality (Cultural Casino, Bankia Hall, La Cárcel Exhibition Hall) and in Cartagena (Alonso Luzzy Exhibition Hall).
Despite his youth, Mariano has to his credit several awards that have accompanied him throughout his artistic career, helping him to express a plural style in his works.
He began his artistic training at various painting academies in Molina de Segura and ended up at the Murcia Art Academy, with José Manuel Peñalver.
He has spent various stages of his life training with various artists, such as Nono García, Juan Espallardo, Patricia Gómez and Cristóbal Toral.
He currently works in industrial painting, making murals and interior decorations.
This artist does not like to define his style; he thinks that this is more a matter of art critics than of himself.
In his workshop he is already preparing a serial work, thinking about the theme of perspectives in the urban landscape.
The works that will be exhibited in this Molinense room are diverse works, they do not belong to series of the same theme.
In Diversos… he shows a calmer perception, but capturing in his canvases the same freedom of lines, contrasts, brightness and transparencies that he has always transferred to the white material, capturing the light with more sobriety and harmony of colors.
