The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura has organized a cultural program of activities to mark the United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace, in developing the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, in order that everyone cooperate in the establishment of personal and social relations free of prejudice and stereotypes, based on equality.
This program is carried out between February and May 2016 and has been presented at a press conference on Wednesday Feb. 24, by the Councillor for Equality, María José Hernández Cano.
FEBRUARY
Objective: To encourage active participation of women and men in the region as interpreters of their own artistic production.
Target population: women and men over 18 who were born or residing in the Region of Murcia.
The deadline for submission of work extends from the date of publication of the bases in the bulletin board of the City of Molina de Segura and the municipal website until April 4 at 14.00 h.
Exposure period from 11 to 25 April.
The awards ceremony will be in the Exhibition Hall Jail on 11 April at 20.00.
MANIFESTO AND MOTION MARCH 8
Objective: To promote the equal participation of men and women in public life of the municipality and in the areas of decision making.
Place: Hall of City Hall.

XXI literary contest MARCH 8: POETRY AND SHORT STORY.
Objective: To open the doors to the writing, encouraging literary creation and dissemination.
Target population: women and men over 18 who were born or residing in the Region of Murcia.
The deadline for submission of work extends from the date of publication of the bases in the bulletin board of the City of Molina de Segura and the municipal website, until Monday 18 April at 14.00 h.
The awards will be published on the website of the City.
XIV MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN Molina de Segura
Objective: The objective of this activity is to have a day of coexistence among all women's associations in Molina de Segura, where they accommodate both cultural and leisure activities and free time.
This year there are a total of 300 women participating, from 26 associations that make up the network of associations of women in the municipality of Molina de Segura.
