Exposing Jose Maria Parraga included in the'Itinerarios' of Culture project can be seen in Molina de Segura until April 9 (03/04/2016)

The exhibition of works by José María Párraga 'Notes on an infinite figure' which can be seen in the Exhibition Hall 'The Garden' Molina de Segura close its doors next Saturday, April 9.

This is therefore the last week that remain exposed drawings cartagenero artist in this exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson and the City of Molina de Segura.

The exhibition is part of the project 'itineraries.

Geography of contemporary art ', through which the Ministry makes available to the municipalities of the works of art from the collection of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA) Region with the aim of contributing to the increase in supply cultural municipalities.

The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, explained that "the 'Routes' project has been widely accepted by municipalities in the region since its inception and are more than 25,000 people have approached the contemporary art through the works of distinguished national and international authors who make up the collection of ICA ".

Director General also stressed "the great participation of schoolchildren in the municipalities in visits and workshops held on the occasion of the exhibition, as, for example, in the case of Molina de Segura are eight schools whose students have been better understanding of the figure and work of one of the most outstanding creators of the region as Jose Maria Parraga ".

'Notes on an infinite figure' has already been seen in other municipalities over recent months.

Besides this, several exhibitions of contemporary art from the collection of ICA who have gone through a total of 15 municipalities.

In 'Notes on an infinite figure', visitors can see about 80 Parraga drawings in ink and pencil.

Through them you can see clearly his constant concern for the human figure: nudes, popular scenes, characters that are hidden, monsters, mythological scenes, etc.

They are all made works by the artist cartagenero between the decades of the 60s and 90s of last century.

The exhibition at the Exhibition Hall 'The Garden' Molina de Segura has the following schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 17:30 to 20:00.

Thursday and Friday will also be open in the morning, from 11:30 to 13:00 hours.
