The Governing Board of the City of Molina de Segura, at its meeting on Tuesday 14 June, approved the proposal for the award of supply of electricity for points superior low voltage to 10 kw of the City of Molina de Segura to Customers SAU Iberdrola company, for an annual amount of 1,411,053 euros, representing a savings of 198,439.67 euros.

The current contract for the supply of electricity was awarded in November 2013 the company Iberdrola Generación SAU, for an annual amount of 1,609,493.57 euros.

As explained by the Councillor for Economy and Employment, José de Haro Gonzalez, "economic governance made in the handling of this tender dossier lead of more than 12% to the municipal coffers annual savings, which will allocate these savings to improvement of other public services. "
