The herald of the festivity of Molina de Segura 2016 will be the pianist Pilar Valero molinense April, as announced Tuesday June 21, the mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira.
The opening speech opening festivities will take place on Friday, September 9, at 20.30 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina.
Pilar Valero began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, where he took classes from Luis Miguel Losada and Anselmo de la Campa and received the Professional Certificate with Honors.
Later he moved to Granada to study higher grade, under the direction of Juan José Pérez Torrecillas, who was a direct student of the great pianist and pedagogue Eduardo del Pueyo, and is decisive in their training.
In 1989 he received the third prize of interpretation in the Jeunesses Musicales competition Granada.
In 1991 he received a grant from the Belgian government to extend studies at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons (Belgium), under the direction of Patricia Montero, giving him a First Prize with distinction.
In Belgium performed numerous recitals in venues such as L'Atelier, LRDC (Brussels), Rode Pompe (Ghent), and Eugies (Quaregnon), receiving critical acclaim.
Since then he has developed an intense concert activity, performing in Italy, Germany (with cellist Reimund Korupp) and Lubjiana (where he made a recording for Slovenian television).
As a soloist include the interpretation of KV.466 Concerts, KV.212 Mozart Concerto No. 3 in C Major by Beethoven, and F.Poulenc Concert with the Youth Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Region Murcia, and the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia, respectively.
He has completed courses with: Pierre Hantai (harpsichord), C. Guinovart.
Jan D 'Haene (analysis and harmony), Blanca Uribe, P. Badura-Skoda, Emile Naumoff and Achilles Vigne.
He has also taught courses in Montserrat, San Miguel de Salinas, Jumilla and Granada, the latter two of pianistic interpretation.
Since 1993 it is part of the contemporary music group Concertus Novo, with whom he has recorded a CD with works of composer Manuel Seco.
Also currently he is recording a CD of Spanish contemporary music for cello and piano with Reimund Korupp.
She has been invited to participate as a juror in competitions San Bartolomeo di Mare, Italy and Carl Filtsch, Romania.
Form duo with cellist Ramon Gomez and violinist Adrian Pînzaru.
Currently she is studying composition under the direction of Javier Darias ECCA in Alcoy, and teaches at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia.
