The Center shutters Molina de Segura hosts the exhibition FOLKLORE FESTIVAL POSTERS AND LAST WORK, molinense artist Arnaldos Salazar of September 1 to 13 (01/09/2016)

The exhibition posters and Folklore Festival last work, the artist molinense Arnaldos Salazar, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, opens to the public Thursday September 1.

The opening ceremony will take place at 20.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall Los Postigos (in Pensioner Street, No. 3).

The exhibition will remain open until September 13 and will run: morning, Monday through Friday, from 10.00 to 13.30, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00;

and evenings, Tuesday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00.

Among its many artistic facets, José Antonio Salazar Arnaldos is a lover of folklore and traditions of our land.

Probably because it has stepped on many stages and gone through countless places, again, full of experience and wisdom, the roots of the culture in which he was born and raised.

So, for years working with the group of Songs and Dances of Molina, Francisco Salzillo Regional Association in organizing the Folklore Festival of Molina de Segura, which this year celebrates its thirty-fourth edition.

He has made since 2003 the official poster of the Festival, these being a faithful reflection of iconographic customs and traditions molinenses.

Just as writers and historians contribute to the cultural heritage of our city, Arnaldos Salazar, artist, insatiable curious and knowledgeable about the traditions and molinense culture, is composing a beautiful iconographic archive of folklore and customs that remain forever in history Molina de Segura.

The posters in this exhibition are a work in progress.

All have been the image of Folklore Festival for more than a decade, but also that, a work in progress, which will continue in subsequent years with new posters of one of the oldest ones cultural events and followed by Molina de Segura .

Arnaldos Salazar kept intact his passion and enthusiasm for painting from the Barrio de San Roque;

a man who unites, combines and enhances the cosmopolitan of his life experience with deep affection to their roots and culture, from the hand of an innate talent for artistic creation.
