Molina de Segura holds a Participatory Assessment Day 2016 Budget on Saturday October 1 (28/09/2016)

The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Citizen Participation, and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations Interbarrios, organized a Day Evaluation Participatory Budget 2016, developed through the Statute of Citizen Participation of Molina de Segura, which will on Saturday October 1, from 08.30 to 14.00, in the Centro Las Balsas (Calle Cartagena, next to Plaza of Griffins).

It is the second time that the momentum of organized citizens fosters the development of the participatory process in the municipal budgets of Molina de Segura.

In the participatory budget process it deepens transparency and efficiency in the management of public resources and communication between the administration and citizens is improved creating spaces for dialogue between neighbors, local technical staff and politicians.

The full program of the day is as follows:

08.30 to 09.00: reception, identification and delivery of documents.

From 09.30 to 11.00 h .: Exhibition of internal evaluation report of the process by Jose Manuel Mayor Balsas, representing the technical team;

and Conference on Participatory Budgeting: Good practices, obstacles and lessons learned, by Patricia Garcia Leiva, Department of Social Psychology, Social Anthropology, Social Work and Social Services of the University of Malaga.

Then, question time, clarifications and exchange of views by the participants.

From 11.00 to 11.30 h .: break, coffee and organizing groups.

From 11.30 to 13.00 h .: time for deliberation.

First, individual work on document analysis and improvement of participatory budgeting process 2016. Then, work in groups, with proposals for improving the Participatory Budget 2017 and election of members to the drafting group and Autorreglamento Manual therefor.

From 13:00 to 14:00 h .: Exhibition in plenary, drawing conclusions, and interventions from participants.
