The exhibition EMBROIDERY WITHOUT FRAME, Mariana Mateo Martinez, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, opens to the public on Tuesday, November 8, at 18.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall Los Postigos (in Street Pensioner, No 3).

The exhibition will remain open until December 4 and will run: morning, Monday through Friday, from 10.00 to 13.30, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00;

and evenings, Tuesday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00.

Mariana Mateo, a native of Las Torres de Cotillas, began their embroidery at the age of 13 years, guided the hands of its neighbor.

And so, gradually, like all girls, she is embroidered their trousseau.

Among his work highlights a village street as a cover, embroidered sheets, trees, hadadas, portraits of artists ... and all done without frame.

This hobby every day makes you grow and fills his days of light, a light that your eyes, sometimes sick, struggle to follow.

The author herself invited to visit the exhibition with the following words: "Come everyone, young and old, to see this collection of embroidery without frame Give your eyes the joy they deserve As fun it is, I have made.. my grain of sand.
