The XIII Gender Violence Prevention Program of Molina de Segura 2016, promoted by the Department of Social Welfare of the Molinese City Council and the Network of Specialized Care Centers for Women Victims of Gender Violence, in collaboration with Project Abraham, has been Presented at a press conference on Tuesday, November 22, in the Press Room of the City Council, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Angel Navarro Garcia.
The program is part of the commemoration of November 25, INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST VIOLENCE TOWARD WOMEN, and in compliance with the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, with the objective of generating a new social attitude to violence Of gender to prevent and eliminate all expression of it in our municipality, as well as sensitize the population of Moline on this issue, to achieve a total rejection of any kind of gender-based violence, "explains the Mayor.
"This programming takes place between November 21 and 30, although work is done throughout the year and in a transversal way, with special emphasis on women, youth and school groups," said Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarrese.
The programmed activities are as follows:
SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE
Objective: To raise awareness about gender violence in the population of Molina de Segura and to bear witness to the rejection and rejection of this social scourge.
Date: from 21 to 30 November.
Target population: public institutions, neighborhood associations, social agents, businesses and population in general.
Activities:
PHOTOCALL AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE.

Target population: 2nd, 4th and 6th pupils of primary schools.
RADIO COMPANY PROGRAM
Theme: youth associations and their support for the prevention of violence.
Guests: MUJOMUR.
Objective: To raise awareness about the issue of gender violence involving citizens and testimonies of social agents.
