The III Regional Conference on Rare Diseases will be held in Molina de Segura on Saturday 25 February, from 08.30 to 14.00 hours, in the auditorium of the Infancy Education School of Paseo Rosales, organized by the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) , Molina de Segura Town Hall and Molina Hospital, in collaboration with the Murciano Health Service and the Molina de Segura Medical Studies Foundation (FEM).
The program of the day includes the following activities:
08.30 h .: reception and accreditation.
09.00 h .: inaugural table.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of FEDER, Juan Carrión Tudela, the Delegate of FEDER in the Region of Murcia, David Sánchez González, and the Managing Director of the Hospital of Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez.
09.30 h .: inaugural conference on New therapy for infrequent diseases, by Dr. Jerónimo Lajara Blesa, Deputy Dean of Medicine of the UCAM.
10.00 h .: lecture on Neuropsychology in Rare Diseases: useful or useless?, By Dr. María Jesús Gómez López, Head of the Clinical Neurorehabilitation Unit of the Hospital de Molina.
10.30 h .: Coffee-break.
11.30 pm: round table on the assessment of disability in Rare Diseases.

Moderator: Dr. Pío Dólera Almaida, Chief of Pediatrics Service of the Hospital de Molina.
Speakers: Dr. Rafael José Rodríguez Román, Technical Medical Manager EVO Murcia;
Mercedes Murcia Manrique, Director of the Center for Social Services of the City of Molina de Segura;
Rosa María Esteban Palomares, Coordinator of the Service of Older Persons and Dependents of the Council of Social Welfare of the city of Mollina;
And Manuel Vicente Mondéjar, Responsible for Sport Adapted from the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura.
12.30: table associations on Services and resources in the Region of Murcia.
Moderator: Dr. Luis Alberto Cerito Santander, Doctor of the Emergency Service of the Hospital de Molina.
The following associations participate: ANSEDH, RETIMUR, AMLEA, DISMO, D'GENES, Soldiers of Ainara, AELIP, AEDE, HSC, and ASFAPE.
13.30 h .: presentation on Research is our hope: 10 proposals to make it real, by Dr. Alba Ancochea Diaz, Director General of FEDER and FEDER Foundation.
2 pm: closure.
Registration must be made at: www.molinadesegura.es, or at the Technical Secretariat (Department of Sports and Health, at telephone number 968 38 85 20, from Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 15.00 hours).
Registration is compulsory and free for all attendees to the day, and includes breakfast, documentation of the day, diploma of attendance, and family respite service for children attending the same.
On the occasion of World Rare Disease Day, the City of Molina de Segura, the Hospital de Molina, and the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), with the collaboration of other entities, organized the 6th Solidarity Race By Esperanza, which will take place on Sunday, February 26, with departure in the Plaza of Spain, at 11.30 hours, on a circuit 500 meters, in the Park of the Company, for one hour.
Voluntary donation to the ERDF.
Free registration, from one hour before departure, and lots of gifts.
Also, on Sunday, February 26, at 11:00 am, in the Plaza de España, the photo contest Huellas de esperanza will be held.
Registration will take place from 10.00 hours.
