Nacho Vilar Producciones (Murcia) presents the contemporary play NEVA, directed by José Bornás, on Friday, May 12, at 9:00 p.m., in the DOS Room of the Villa de Molina Theater (at Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 10).
The entrance fee is 10 euros.
The plot is centered on the essay that three actors try to carry out of the garden of the cherry trees, of Chekhov, only a few months after his death.
Among those actors is his widow: Olga Knipper, which will give a historical dimension and immediacy to the work.
Everything happens on January 9, 1905, called for History as Bloody Sunday.
More than two hundred thousand workers gathered at the gates of the palace of Tsar Nicholas II.
They demanded to improve working conditions and their attitude was totally peaceful.
However, it was ordered to open fire on the crowd and there were many dead and wounded.
From this moment an escalation of demonstrations and strikes begins that will end in the Russian revolution of 1917.
The interpreters of Neva are Lola Martinez, Irene Verdú and Jesus Arribas.
