The Department of Tourism of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, organized a free guided theatrical visit to the general public on the occasion of the International Museum Day 2017 , Which will take place on Saturday, 20 May, at 12 noon.
Alvar Fáñez de Minaya, nephew and right-hand man of Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, El Cid, will accompany visitors through the streets of Molina de Segura recalling his figure.
During the visit he will tell you the evolution of the city in the last millennium and how the current society was generated based on the society of the Middle Ages.
From his hand will know the history of El Cid and the causes of the disrespect and clashes he maintained with the King for reasons of honor and blood, as well as the reason for the arrival of El Cid to the city of Molina.
They will walk through the most emblematic points of the medieval city and will know how they behaved their people, their fears and their hopes.
The actor who will give life to this personage is Jose Ramón de Moya (1980), actor / director and scenic trainer.
As an actor he has participated in more than 50 stage projects, with more than 400 performances in stages throughout Spain, as well as in France, the United States, Morocco and Puerto Rico.
As director he has carried out more than 15 works in the last 4 years.
In 2015 he received the MAX Prize for Performing Arts with the Theater Classroom of the University of Murcia, as well as the National Children's / Youth Theater Prize of the Spanish Confederation of Theater, project with FEAPS Murcia and la Caixa-ProInfancia.
He also won the 24-Hour Theater Award (Ten24).
In 2012 he received the National Prize of Contemporary Theater of the Spanish Confederation of Theater with LAULA Theater and was winner of CreaJoven 2010. In 2016 he has been in the Festival of Almagro and his project has been among the top 10 of Young Classic Theater in Almagro Off.
In May 2016 he founded the company Ardil Producciones SL, with which he obtained the candidacy to Grupo Revelación within the Max Awards of this 2017.

Places are limited to 40 and registration will be made by strict order.
The visit begins in the Plaza de España (Puerta del Ayuntamiento), runs along the Paseo Rosales and reaches the Plaza de la Molinera, in front of the Museum of the Enclave of the Wall (MUDEM);
Plaza de Cristo Rey and walk along Pensionista Street, where the Tourist Office is located;
The Church Square of Our Lady of the Assumption;
And, finally, the Mirador del Castillo.
The route lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Both the duration and the route of the routes allows it to be recommended for all audiences.
