The hospital of Molina has presented, today Wednesday May 17, the 5th Week of the Hospital.
A group of health information activities, with which the Hospital Center, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura, celebrates its seventeenth anniversary.
During the event - also attended by the Councilor of Public Health of the City of Molina de Segura, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez -, the Manager of the Hospital of Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, stressed that "we have been seventeen years taking care of health Of all our patients and promoting healthy habits in order to achieve a better quality of life.That is why, one more year, we want to celebrate it with everyone from the youngest to those who are not so much through our Hospital Week, approaching Our services to citizens, going out with our consultations and developing different activities prepared by our specialists to promote a healthier lifestyle.
This year, as a novelty, Hospital Week changes format, opening a space in the environment of its facilities specifically, in front of its main door to publicize its services at the foot of the street.
From Tuesday 23 May until Thursday 25 May and under the title "Committed to Citizens", the following activities will take place:
Free consultations of Psychology, NeuroRehabilitation, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Traumatology, Tobacco Dishabituation, Osteopathy, Dermatology, etc., addressed to different groups.
Oral examinations.
Measurement of blood pressure and glucose, and identification of blood group.
Basic CPR Workshop and Choking Techniques
Lectures on "Importance of monitors during pregnancy and postpartum recovery", "Complementary feeding", "Skin care in adolescence", etc.
Free densitometry.
Healthy breakfast.
Workshops of Physical Activity for Health, nutritional, Memory and executive functions, Postural Hygiene, etc.
Etc.
At the same time, the Hospital de Molina wants to give visibility to the work and activities carried out by the different social organizations with which it collaborates closely, so that ASPAPROS, FEYCSA, Murcia Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association, ASTRADE, AFESMO, ASSIDO, Cáritas and Red Cross Will be present in the 5th Week of the Hospital.
