On the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (LGTBI-Phobia), on Wednesday, May 17, the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, called for " Continue to fight against discrimination, persecution, exclusion or harassment based on sexual orientation and gender identity. "

For this reason, at 11:00 am, on the balcony of the Town Hall, the LGTBI flag has been deployed, with the assistance of other council councilors, as well as the groups NOT TE PRIVES and NI PERAS NI MANZANAS.

The International Day against LGTBI-Phobia was recognized in Spain by the Government through an agreement of the Council of Ministers on June 26, 2009.
