The Mayor of Molina de Segura has signed a Bando in which it requires owners of plots and lots of the municipality to proceed urgently to the cleaning and clearing of the same, keeping them in the proper conditions of safety, health and public adornment .

MAKE IT KNOW:
The Municipal Inspectorate has brought to the attention of this Corporation the existence in our municipality of numerous lots and parcels that present abundance of bush, weed and deposits of residues and rubbish.
This situation has negative consequences for health, the environment and public adornment, but above all because with the advent of the high temperatures typical of the summer season, the risk of fire increases enormously.
Article 110 of Law 13/2015, of 30 March, on land use planning and urban planning in the Region of Murcia, imposes on the owners of all types of land, the duty to maintain them in conditions of safety, health, universal accessibility and Public adornment.
Likewise, article 5 of the Ordinance regulating the Cleaning and Fencing of Plots prohibits throwing garbage or solid waste in lots or free spaces, whether publicly or privately owned and article 26 of the Municipal Ordinance regulating Public Cleaning imposes The owners of estates and buildings the obligation to preserve the public adornment of these elements, cleaning and maintaining the facades, entrances and in general all parts of the building visible from the public thoroughfare.
In view of all of the above and in order to avoid unhealthy situations and so that the risk of fire is not increased in this summer season, owners of plots and lots of this municipal area are required to proceed urgently to the Cleaning and clearing of the same, keeping them in the proper conditions of safety, sanitation and public adornment.
Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to the opening of the corresponding enforcement order file, in accordance with the provisions of article 270 of Law 13/2015, of March 30, on land use planning and urban planning in the Region of Murcia, And in case of non-compliance with the execution order, the work will be carried out subsidiarily by the City Council, and must bear the cost of the same, the owner.
