The City Council of Molina de Segura has organized two new environmental activities at the Information and Visitors Center of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar on Sunday, June 4, within the program of activities organized to mark World Environment Day.
The center opens its doors on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10.00 to 14.00 hours.
At 10.30 hours an ecological route will be conducted guided by Las Lagunas de Campotéjar.
A pleasant itinerary during which we will discover the great variety of birds, especially aquatic, that inhabit the Lagoons.
We will also know the peculiarities of the flora associated with this protected enclave.
During the tour participants can make observations with telescope and binoculars.
After the route, at 12.15 hours the workshop Water researchers will be held.
Participants will know the characteristics of water through experimentation.
They will take various water samples from Las Lagunas where they will measure various physical-chemical parameters, such as pH and turbidity, and biological, such as the presence of living organisms (algae, small invertebrates, ...).
They will also know the dragonfly of Las Lagunas and, finally, they will speak to them about the importance of the purification of the waters for the maintenance of the ecosystems.
These activities are aimed at all audiences.
Participation is free and prior registration is not necessary.
