The APP of Natural Spaces of Molina de Segura (http://espaciosnaturales.molinadesegura.es/), promoted by the councils of Environment and Technologies of the Information and Communication (TIC) of the municipality of Molina, has been presented at a press conference Today Monday, June 5, in the Press Room.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, First Deputy Mayor and ICT Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, and the Councilor for the Environment, Pellicer Carbonell Capel, attended the meeting.
Molina de Segura has its own Natural Environment, which it is necessary to make known for better conservation and management.
"In the current reality that we are living with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), we believe it necessary to use them as audiovisual, computer and telematic resources in the field of nature conservation and environmental education," explains the Mayor.
The Environment Project on Knowledge Development through ICT, initiated at the end of 2015, proposed three lines of work:
Valuation of public use facilities for natural spaces and environmental education, such as the Campotéjar Lagoon Information and Reception Center and the Alto del Rellano Nature Information Center, near the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park.
Creation of the Geo-referenced Map on Biodiversity of Molina de Segura.
