The Department of Tourism organizes the Visit of the Pilgrim, an urban route through Molina de Segura (07/06/2017)

The Municipality of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Tourism, presents a program of Activities for Pilgrims 2017, which has been published on a flyer, on the occasion of the celebration of the Jubilee Year in Caravaca de la Cruz, with the aim of Give greater tourist diffusion to the municipality of Moline among the pilgrims who make the Camino de Levante.

This road starts in Orihuela and, along the Segura River, reaches Molina de Segura, in the vicinity of the Hermitage of Our Lady of Consolation, where it connects with the Greenway of the Northwest until arriving at Caravaca de la Cross.

On the obverse of the flyer are the activities that have been programmed.

On the one hand, the Urban Route designed for the Pilgrim's Visit, which has stops in the Hermitage of Our Lady of Consolation, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption (sealing point for the pilgrim), The Tourist Office (sealing point for the pilgrim) and the Wall Enclave Museum (MUDEM).

On the other hand, the flyer contains information about the Raíles Verdes Photography Exhibition.

These photographs show different stages of the route of the Greenway from its beginning as a railroad to the present day, converted into a Pilgrimage Road.

On the back, it shows the tourist plane of Molina with the route of the Visit of the Pilgrim and the places designated to visit.

The Department of Tourism offers the possibility of carrying out the free guided tour in group, accompanied by an Official Tourism Guide.

In order to do so, it is essential to make a pre-reservation in the Tourist Office, in Calle Pensionista, n ° 3, by telephone, on the number 968 388 522, or through the email, oficinadeturismo@molinadesegura.es.

The flyer will be available at the points of issue of credentials for pilgrims, places where they begin their journey: in the Episcopal Palace of Murcia, in the Cathedral of Orihuela and in the Vicariate of Cartagena.

In addition, it will also be in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the City of Molina de Segura and the Municipal Tourism Office.
