The city of Molina de Segura participates in the networking of Greencities, Forum of Intelligence and Urban Sustainability (http://greencities.malaga.eu/en/como-participar/networking/#.WTfv-GiLTgk), the main national meeting on Smart and sustainable urban management, which takes place on 7 and 8 June in the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Malaga.
Representatives of public administrations and institutions come into contact with professionals linked to the development of smart cities in order to present and share solutions and success cases to satisfy the municipal demand and generate business opportunities.
And Molina de Segura will be present for another year.
The forum brings together professionals, companies and representatives of public administrations and institutions linked to building and sustainable rehabilitation, energy efficiency and the development of smart cities, governance, environment, smart mobility and funding opportunities.
Cities participating in the Greencities networking can, through an online dating tool, close meetings to discuss, cooperate, generate trade agreements and propose initiatives and projects to other cities, participants and exhibitors present at the Forum.
Among the contents of Greencities 2017 is the National Plan for Intelligent Cities, prepared by the State Secretariat for the Information Society and Digital Agenda (SESIAD), under the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Digital Agenda, along with AENOR.
This will be one of the main axes of Greencities in 2017, which will include the ICT & Sustainability Forum, the GrenLab (institutional and commercial presentations area) and the exhibition area.
Málaga Innovation Festival
Greencities Forum will be held for the first time within the framework of the Malaga Innovation Festival (5-11 June), a pioneering initiative organized by the City Council of the capital and which will include the parallel celebration of more than thirty events and activities The development of smart cities, digital content, mobility, gaming, social innovation and takeoff of spinoffs.
With this, the participation of more than 8,000 professionals, more than 400 investors, with an estimated global capacity of 500 million euros, around 600 startups and close to 300 speakers is expected.
Thus, Forum Greencities will coincide in time and space with the first call of Hi! Drone Technology, Dron Technology Hall (also June 7 and 8), and the EBAN Annual Congress 2017, the annual reference meeting held by The European Trade Association For Business Angels, the largest European organization of business angels and investment agents in the early stages (7 and 9 June).
Forum Greencities is organized by the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (Fycma), a subsidiary of the Málaga City Council, and co-organized by the Association of Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC) and by the Secretariat of State for the Information Society and Digital Agenda (SESIAD) (under the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda).
Along with this, it has as premium partners the Municipal Management of Urbanism of the City of Málaga, Telefónica, the Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Commerce of the Junta de Andalucía and FCC, and as golden partners to the Andalusian Agency for Foreign Promotion (Extenda ), Under the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge of the Junta de Andalucía and Kapsch.
