The act of signing the agreement between the City of Molina de Segura and the Association of Disabled People of Molina de Segura and Vega Media (DISMO) for the Integral Development Plan for people with disabilities took place today Thursday, June 15, in the town hall Molinense
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of DISMO, Salvador García Fernández, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, attended.
The Municipality of Molina de Segura and DISMO sign this collaboration agreement to develop the Integral Development Plan, with a municipal subsidy for a total amount of 22,000 euros, as approved last Tuesday June 13 the Local Government Board.
The main objectives that are pursued with the signing of this agreement are: to offer information and specialized guidance to the group of people with disabilities;
Meet the demands and needs of the collective;
And to promote the social integration of people with disabilities.
Those disabled people of the municipality and their families may benefit from the Plan.
Within the Integral Development Plan for Persons with Disabilities, the following actions are established:
Information and guidance on social and specific resources of the collective.
Occupational Therapy Workshops.
Recruitment of volunteers.
School awareness actions.
Elimination of barriers of the physical environment.
Cultural activities of leisure and free time.
The DISMO Association is located in the Municipal Center of La Molineta, in Paris Avenue, No. 1, Molina de Segura.
To develop this Plan, the entity has: 1 Social Worker, 2 workshop monitors, 1 Logopeda, 1 driver and 1 Psychopedagogue.
The performances are carried out throughout the year 2017.
