The Dental Clinic of the Hospital de Molina and the City of Molina de Segura have signed this morning a collaboration agreement whereby the Dental Clinic will provide oral and dental treatments to people with social need.
During the signing, the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Medical Director of the Molina Hospital, Eduardo Rodríguez de la Vega Espinosa, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, The co-director of the Dental Clinic of the Hospital de Molina, Juan Francisco Piqueras Gómez, explained that "within the framework of our social commitment, we want to offer a series of treatments to people of Molina de Segura in vulnerable situation, with the objectives To remedy a problem essential to the development of their lives, to prevent other diseases resulting from poor oral health, to improve their self-esteem and to facilitate cross-sectional access to training and employability resources. "
For his part, Eduardo Rodríguez de la Vega Espinosa has highlighted the commitment that the Hospital de Molina maintains with the health of the citizens of Molina, as well as the close collaboration with the City of Molina de Segura, convinced of the importance of establishing public- Private partnerships with which to improve both society and the immediate environment.
Through this agreement, and following a referral report by the Department of Social Welfare, people with social needs will be able to access a professional buco-dental care in the modalities of total or partial gratuity.
