The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Education and Municipal Works, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, visited the public improvement school on Monday, October 2, accompanied by municipal technicians.
In particular, they have visited the CEIP Cervantes.
This year, the municipal budgets have an additional item called Investment in Education, endowed with 100,000 euros, and destined to works of adaptation in the public schools of the second cycle of Primary and Secondary Education of the municipality.
The awarded works are being carried out in the following educational centers:
Our Lady of Fatima, Cervantes, Tierno Galván, Our Consolation, San Antonio, San Miguel, Gregorio Miñano, Master Francisco Martínez Bernal, the Romeral and Official School of Languages.
The actions consist of paving and conditioning of children's playgrounds, facades and interiors of educational centers, expansion of offices, waterproofing of decks and foundation works in sports locker rooms.
