The councilors of Tourism and Culture propose for Sunday October 8, from 11.30 to 13.30 hours, the visit and workshop of the huertana house in the Ethnographic Museum Carlos Soriano of the hamlet of El Llano de Molina.
Activity directed to a family audience, in which, with recycled material, will recreate the typical tent and a tower house huertana.

The Carlos Soriano Ethnographic Museum is located in the old manor house that this lawyer had in his agricultural colony of Llana de Molina de Segura and was inaugurated on May 17, 2003. The activities that are proposed will be developed from Monday to Thursday for concerted groups (educational centers, associations, cultural centers, etc., of the municipality and the Region), and the second Sunday of the month, for the general population, from 11.30 to 13.30 hours.
The Municipality of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works, rehabilitated the building and started this center.
The complex is made up of the annexe chapel that was part of the colony, an area of ​​agricultural crops, to show the characteristic products of the area, a hydraulic wheel on the irrigation ditch in operation and declared a Property of Cultural Interest and since 2011, a temporary exhibition hall.
The manor house has two floors.
On the ground floor, we find the entrance where there is a tinajero, under the stairs, and some archaeological pieces of the surveys carried out in the municipality since 1992. Turning to the kitchen we find different utensils that were part of this room and some collections of ceramics and glass.
Passing through the courtyard of the house we arrive at the temporary exhibition room where proposals of different plastic artists of the locality are developed.
The Upper Floor picks up a first room where we contemplate different regional costumes.
The next room is composed of different models where vegetables are collected and some artifacts such as Ferris wheels, mills ... The last room recreates a bedroom from the end of the 19th century.
