The presentation of the new uniforms of Local Police of Molina de Segura took place today Monday, October 16, in the building of Local Police.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, First Deputy Mayor and Local Police Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, Second Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Human Resources, Ángel Navarro García, and Deputy Inspector Chief of Local Police , José Pérez Almagro.
The adjudication of the supply of clothing for the Local Police was approved by the Local Government Board at its meeting on May 2, 2017. The company awarded is Insigna Uniformes, SL, and the total amount amounts to 59,867.17 euros.
The adjudication process has been carried out through a Clothing Commission, which has been composed of representatives of all the syndicates with presence in the Local Police (SIME, CCOO, UGT and CSIF) and the Local Police Chief, José Pérez Almagro.
This commission has evaluated the proposals submitted in terms of the quality of the fabric used and the final design of the uniforms.
First Deputy Mayor and Local Police Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, explained that the final result has been "a modern uniform, which significantly improves the quality of the fabric and its fabrication."
The final image that is obtained with this new uniform is very similar to those of other Local Police bodies that have previously changed their clothing, as is the case of Cartagena and Aguilas, waiting for the Local Police Coordination Law establish a common uniform for all municipalities in the Region.
Fernando Miñana believes that this future uniform "will be very similar to the one already seen by the agents of Molina de Segura."
The Council of Local Police concluded that the new uniform is part of a comprehensive change in the image of the Local Police of Molina de Segura, which will soon be added police vehicles.
