The new Young Artistic Creation Contest CREARTE 2017, organized by the Council of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura in order to promote, support and channel the creative and cultural work of young people, has been presented at a press conference today Friday, October 20, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado.
The following modalities are established: music, literature, photography, fine arts and comics.
Young people can participate, collectively or individually, aged between 14 and 35 years (as of December 31, 2017), born or who prove their residence in the Region of Murcia.
In the case of Music, young people can participate, collectively or individually, aged between 14 and 35, born or registered in Molina de Segura, or study in an official center or work in the municipality.
The budget for this edition amounts to 15,000 euros.
Likewise, the following awards are established for each modality:
Music: a first prize of € 1,000, a second prize of € 500 and a third prize of € 400.
Literature: a first prize of € 700 is awarded, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400;
and poetry establishes a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
Photography: a first prize: € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
Plastic arts: a first prize of € 1,000, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
Comic: a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
The payment of the prizes will be made effective in the necessary time that requires the administrative processing.
The prizes will have a withholding of the IRPF, according to the current regulations of the Ministry of Finance.
The inscriptions will be formalized until next November 13, in: the headquarters of the Youth Department (in Calle Mayor, n ° 81, Edificio El Retén, 1st floor, from 08.00 to 15.00 hours);

The Department of Youth will hold an exhibition of Photography, Fine Arts and Comics with the works awarded and the non-awarded selected.
In the music modality will organize a concert with the finalist groups to award the prizes.
