The closing ceremony of the Second Majority Program of Molina de Segura and tribute to the four people over 100 who reside in the municipality takes place TODAY Monday, October 30, at 5:30 pm, at the Villa de Molina Theater (on Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 10).

The act is attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, and the President of the Association for Active and Healthy Aging, Juan Aguilar Gil.

The Second Major Program, promoted by the Council of Social Welfare of the Molinense City Council, in collaboration with the Association for Active and Healthy Aging of the town, was developed during the month of October 2017, with the aim of making visible the collective of elderly people.

The activities were aimed at older people from the Molinense municipality, a group integrated in Molina de Segura by some 20,796 people over 55 years of age.

The objectives of the program are: to promote the interpersonal relationships of the elderly in their own environment;

promote socio-cultural, occupational, artistic and recreational activities to prevent situations of physical and / or cognitive deterioration;

create spaces and new forms for the occupation of leisure time and leisure;

and stimulate and stimulate active maintenance on a physical and psychological level.

The program closes with the TRIBUTE TO OVER 100 YEARS of the municipality, consisting of the delivery of a plaque tribute by the City Council to: VALENTÃ�N FERNÁNDEZ CORBALÁN (103 years), ÁNGELES SÁNCHEZ GIL (102 years), CHARITY PUJANTE MUELAS ( 102 years) and ANTONIA LACALLE PASTOR (100 years).

Then, the performance of the Miguel Illán Choir, the IMAS Major Center of Molina de Segura, and the performance of the play Historias que me narraron, by the Molinense author Paco López Mengual, performed by the Theater Group, will take place. Municipal de Molina de Segura.
