The act of presentation of the granting of grants to non-profit entities of Molina de Segura during this year 2017 took place today, Tuesday, October 31, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
They have assisted the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Angel Navarro García.
The Department of Social Welfare has promoted, for the first time, the granting of subsidies to non-profit entities, under competitive concurrency, during the fiscal year of 2017, within the scope of social promotion and insertion programs, which operate in the municipality of Molina de Segura, with a budget item that totals 20,000 euros.
The beneficiaries of the subsidies have been those associations and institutions, legally constituted, that, meeting the requirements established in the bases (domicile and stable operation in Molina de Segura, and lack of profit motive), have been presented in the corresponding term and They have been the following:

ASSOCIATION ALBORES
He has presented a project called Street Intervention, aimed at minors and adolescents in situations of social and family conflict.
The activities complement the actions of the programs of the Department of Social Welfare, through educational and individualized therapeutic projects that facilitate the incorporation of the child into society.
It is foreseen, through the project, to attend to 15 minors that require therapeutic actions derived by the technicians of the Department, since it is a demanded resource in the municipality to cover these needs.
ASSOCIATION HELPS THE RENAL ILLNESS (ADAER)
Through the project presented by the entity, Comprehensive Care for People with Renal Disease, attention is paid to individual and group demands of the group, which are aimed at improving the quality of life of people with kidney disease through psychological care and nutritional, physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment, and achievement of an approach to social resources of the municipality.
The activities carried out affect aspects of social intervention as effects of the disease.
ASSOCIATION DISLÉXICOS DE MURCIA
The project presented by the entity is aimed at children with dyslexia problems in situations of social vulnerability, and includes a series of actions, providing individual educational sessions and group workshops of social skills that cover the needs of a group of children between 5 and 12 years whose families have low income and can not afford treatment.
Between 10 and 15 families benefit from the project.
These actions are complementary in cases of social intervention and are referred to the entity by Social Services technicians.
MURCIA ASSOCIATION OF LUPUS AND OTHER RELATED ILLNESSES
The project presented by the entity is aimed at people with lupus disease to promote physical and emotional well-being through sessions of physiotherapy and psychological care.
With the project is intended and expand the knowledge of social resources that are in the municipality for this group.
It includes community and leisure activities and objectives, craft workshops and cultural outings that improve the quality of life of the sick and their families.
ASSOCIATION OCIOARTE, INCLUSIVE LEISURE OF THE REGION OF MURCIA
The project presented by the Association on Inclusive Leisure in the municipality is aimed at children between 14 and 21 years old at risk of social exclusion in community life and also to their families.
It develops actions to encourage the participation of young people with functional diversity through the holding of group workshops that promote social skills.
They provide a service of attention to diversity with adaptations and necessary accompaniments.
The actions of the entity complement and serve as support for cases of social intervention by Social Services technicians.
