The Interpretation Center La Albarda Rites and Traditions of Campo de Molina organizes a restoration workshop for children on Sunday, November 5 (02/11/2017)

The restoration workshop for children, organized by the Tourism Department of the Molina de Segura City Council at the Interpretation Center La Albarda Rites and Traditions of Campo de Molina, will take place on Sunday, November 5, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, at the Former Unitary School of the hamlet of La Albarda.

In this activity, participants will repair old pieces and furniture giving them a very original touch.

To participate in these activities it is important to confirm the assistance by calling the telephone number 968 21 90 99 (Aldaba Congresos, company that develops the program) or the Tourism Department, to the telephone numbers 968 388 523 and 968 388 522 .

The Interpretation Center La Albarda Rites and Traditions of Campo de Molina opens its doors from Monday to Thursday for concert groups (educational centers, associations, cultural centers, etc., of the municipality and the Region), and on the first Sunday of the month, for the general population, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.

The City Council of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Tourism Infrastructures, launched this center in December 2007, equipped with all a cutting-edge cultural equipment, where, through technical Communication that plays with the senses (visual, tactile, auditory, etc.), facilitates participation, learning and knowledge about the rites and traditions of Campo de Molina in a fun, easy and fun way.

On the ground floor, through didactic and modern exhibition forms, it is intended to convey to visitors the diverse wealth of nature and life in the Campo de Molina, while disseminating the knowledge we have about the intervention of the man in the resources of the field and the conservation of its ecosystems, facilitating, an interpretation of the tangible and intangible Rural Heritage and the life, uses and customs of its inhabitants.

The Upper Floor includes the recreation of an old unitary school classroom that reflects the educational process taught in rural areas.

It is also available and equipped so that it can be used as a space for various activities: workshops, screenings, meetings, etc.
