The general director of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Francisco González Zapater, today received a delegation of technicians from Paraguay who have been for 50 days in the Region of Murcia to acquire knowledge on agriculture and livestock, in the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences (Cifea) of Molina de Segura, within the framework of a Collaboration Program with UNESCO.
The objective of this Program is to apply the acquired knowledge adapting them to the conditions of the country of destination.
The technicians of this delegation were very interested in the aspects related to the goats of the Region of Murcia, although the most important production in Paraguay is dedicated to the export of beef and veal.
They have also shown great interest in training models for technicians and farmers, and for intensive horticulture, acquiring knowledge about fertilization and the sustainable use of phytosanitary products, since Paraguay is interested in establishing a new legislation that makes possible a more rational of these products.
