The II Sample of School Cooperatives, promoted by the Union of Cooperatives of Education of the Region of Murcia (UCOERM), in collaboration with the Department of Education of the City of Molina de Segura, will take place on Tuesday, December 19, from 08.30 to 14.00 hours, at the Plaza de España in Molina de Segura.
The opening ceremony and visit to the participating stands will take place at 10.30.
The event was presented at a press conference on Tuesday, December 12, in the municipality of Molinense, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the President of UCOERM, Juan Antonio Pedreño Frutos.
UCOERM is a beneficiary of the project Creating Future: Promotion of Cooperative Entrepreneurship at School, within the framework of the Operational Program of Social Inclusion and Social Economy, POISES, specific objective 8.3.1, financed by the European Social Fund.
Within the actions planned in this project, UCOERM organizes a sample of school cooperatives, created in their teaching cooperatives, with their students.
It is expected the attendance of about 1,200 schoolchildren, aged between 8 and 18 years, divided into 40 stands, and that will arrive in school buses from different municipalities in the Region of Murcia.
