The Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura has assumed the Project MIRROR.
And after THAT, what?
in this academic year 2017-2018.
It is a support activity for the academic and professional guidance that takes place in the public secondary education centers of Molina de Segura, as reported by the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Youth, Fernando Miñana Hurtado.
The purpose of the MIRROR Project is to facilitate the knowledge and assessment of their own abilities, motivations and interests, the information and decision-making of each young person regarding their academic and professional itinerary, as well as to inform and promote the contact of young people with the world of work through knowledge of different professional families and their corresponding training requirements, facilitating the early acquisition of knowledge about the world of work, and the training offered by associations, federations, and business groups in the municipality and the Region of Murcia.
The initiative is structured in three phases.
In the first one, the students investigate about their aptitudes, capacities for their integration in the professional and labor world.
In the second phase, he receives direct information from professionals about the professional families that interest them through talks.
In the third phase, professional centers, companies, entities, etc. are visited in small groups, assigning students an exploration task, through observation and questions on specific issues, which are prepared in advance in class.
