The presentation of the programming of the Villa de Molina Theater for the months of February to June 2018, organized by the Department of Culture of the Molina de Segura City Council, took place today, Friday, January 19th.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilman of Culture, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and the Director of the Villa de Molina Theater, José Antonio Avilés Moreno, attended.
The Teatro Villa de Molina hosts a total of 23 shows, "a program that is continuist and coherent with our previous programming, we continue to bet on the balance between what is ours and what is foreign, trying to offer in both cases a high level of quality, both in music as in theater, of the total of programmed shows, seven are musical, thirteen theatrical, one of dance, one monologue and one of magic, and, as for its origin, eight venues, three regional, ten national and two international " , explains the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Jesús Martínez.
At the local level, it stands out: the presence of two professional theater companies, MTPro, which will present Rainroad.
El Musical, and De Vita Brevis, with singers, to mark the celebration of Women's Day;
as well as the commemorative concert of the XXX Anniversary of the Municipal Orchestra, and the performance of the Choral Kodály, with 1685: Häendel-Bach.
And at the national level, the presence of Emilio Gutierrez Caba, with After the rehearsal, Julia Gutiérrez Caba and Miguel Rellán, with Letters of Love, Mariano Peña, with Obra de Dios, and Carmen Machi, with Chronology of the Beasts.
And in the musical field highlights the concert of Jaime Urrutia, which presents the reissue of the album Camino Soria.
It is also worth mentioning, outside the program, the celebration of the I Exhibition of School Theater, from 23 to 26 April, the Final Gala of the VI Contest of Young Performers Villa de Molina, on May 25, and the II Theater Exhibition Young, during the last week of May.
As for the price of the tickets, "we will have a general pass, split in two, with five functions the first, corresponding to the months of February and March, and four the second, corresponding to the months of April and May, at the price 40 and 35 euros respectively, discounts of 20% are maintained for people over 65, unemployed, large families and young people between 15 and 30 years, and 25% for groups of 12 or more, "says the Councilor for Culture .
Las Cenas del Teatro is maintained at a price of 12 euros, with the traditional participation of El Capricho de Baco, Cuatro Rosas Brewery Bar, Don Giovanni Pizzeria, La Gratella and La Marimorena, and the new incorporation of La Compañía, Mercado Gastronómico del Vega Plaza Shopping Center.
For its part, the Mayor has shown his gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Culture and the ICA of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, since, through the Platea Program and the Plan Escena, respectively, subsidize part of the planned programming ".
